Symbiant Group develops software tools and components to enhance P2P and GRID technology solution platforms. Our initial product line is focused on Groove-based business tools that can be leveraged across a multitude of industry and job functions.
Groove Products:
MediaTeam 1.1: MediaTeam 1.1 is the first collaborative video & audio media review tool for the Groove collaboration platform. MediaTeam 1.1 allows workspace participants to co-review media files in "real time". Now a team can be assured that everyone is watching or listening to the right video or audio file.
Custom Skins: Symbiant Group has created a few free skins for you to download and customize your Groove application. We have made these for our own personal use, but after some requests from friends, have decided to share them. In the future we will be developing packs of custom skins for sale. If you have any ideas about what you might like to see, let us know.
Future product will focus on:
- Specific business verticals: Financial Services, Life Sciences, and Media

Symbiant Group is a certified Groove Developer and has been working with the Groove platform since early 2001. Our tools are custom developed for Groove and adhere to Groove programming interfaces and security standards. Our software products are Windows native ensuring that they will run Windows 98, NT, 2000 & XP.
Pricing:
All Symbiant Group products are available (with limited functionality) in a free downloadable Preview version. Other levels of functionality can be unlocked by purchasing a new unlocking key from our website. You will only need to download the free preview edition if you do not want to purchase a full version immediately to try them out. After you have tried our preview version and are happy with the functionality:
- Return to our site and purchase the upgrade
- Remain online
- We will send your Groove client a new activation key to unlock the new functionality (This will happen nearly immediately and automatically)
- We will send you an email confirmation notice
- Return to using your newly upgraded Symbiant Group Groove Tool and enjoy.
FAQs:
Q: What happens when I've purchased a product for a workspace and then invite other people?
A: When you invite someone new to your workspace who does not already own the same Symbiant Group Groove product, they will be given the Preview version. They will need to go to our site and purchase the upgrade to make the functionality work like your copy.
Q: I've purchased the upgrade, but I still can not use the new functionality. What should I do?
A: Please shut down Groove and your machine, then restart. This should refresh your Groove application and allow the new functionality to engaged by the tool.
